About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Outside Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a territory sales plan to meet or exceed assigned sales goals. This role involves prospecting and cultivating new customer relationships, as well as maintaining and growing relationships with existing customers. You will collaborate with internal specialists and vendors to design and deliver customized control and automation solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and stay current with industry trends. Accurate record-keeping using CRM software and providing market feedback are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience in industrial automation, process control, or a related technical field.
  • Strong understanding of valves, instrumentation, flow control, and automation products.
  • Proven ability to manage a sales territory and meet/exceed quotas.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Stay up-to-date on product offerings, industry trends, and competitor activity.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and opportunities using CRM software.
  • Provide input on market and customer feedback to sales leadership and product management.
