About The Position

Bo's Generators, a Power Support Partners Company, is a rapidly growing home service company in the Southeast, hiring an Outside Sales Representative (Power Consultant) for its Sarasota, Florida location. Bo’s Generators focuses on installing and maintaining standby generators to ensure homes remain powered during outages. The Outside Sales Representative is a field-based role responsible for conducting in-home consultations, closing deals, and managing territory performance through diligent follow-up and execution. This position is ideal for sales professionals motivated by performance-based compensation, resilience in the face of rejection, and full ownership of their sales pipeline from initial contact to signed agreement.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout the assigned market regularly.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screening consistent with applicable laws and company policy.
  • Comfort using CRM and mobile tools to manage appointments and follow up.
  • Strong candidates often come from in-home residential sales roles that require complex decision-making (e.g., custom pools, blinds, roofing, solar products, or other high-ticket home improvement solutions).
  • Competitive or performance-driven backgrounds (e.g., athletics, commission sales, military, leadership roles, or similar environments that build discipline, resilience, and a results-driven mindset).
  • Relentless Sales Drive - Pushes through rejection, maintains persistence, and consistently works to close deals and exceed targets.
  • Discipline - Follows the sales process and maintains structured daily routines. Executes PSP systems and workflows consistently and operates with strong personal accountability. Comes from organizations where metrics were critical and can clearly articulate performance metrics off the top of their head.
  • Humble - Collaborates well with others, accepts coaching and feedback, supports team success, and operates with low ego and high accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-trust in-home consultations, guiding homeowners from evaluation to a signed agreement for generator solutions.
  • Manage and own the sales pipeline through disciplined same-day recaps, structured follow-up, and consistent deal execution.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and produce clean, detailed estimates to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Proactively generate approximately 25% of leads through referrals, networking, and local prospecting to maximize territory performance.
  • Travel to other markets during non-peak seasons to support demand and maximize sales opportunities, as business needs require.
