About The Position

This role is for an Outside Sales Representative who is excited about growing with a new business, enjoys working with people, and values autonomy while thriving in accountability. The Surface Experts Business Developer will find and build relationships with customers in industries such as property management, hotels, construction, and facilities maintenance. The job involves educating customers about unique services, building trust, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. The company is a small, fast-growing team looking for a teammate to join their next phase of expansion. Surface Experts is an all-inclusive surface repair service provider that repairs small damage to hard interior surfaces. They pride themselves on fast service, a friendly and professional atmosphere, and combining old-school skill sets with new technology. Their objective is a happy customer and a long-term relationship, focusing on saving customers time, money, and reducing waste. The typical repair is small, requiring minimal product and equipment, and is completed quickly with no odors.

Requirements

  • Goal-oriented, self-starter, coachable/teachable, ambitious, and energetic.
  • Strong record of closing new business, preferably B-2-B sales.
  • Enjoys working with other people.
  • Professional, caring and service-minded.
  • Readiness to work with a metrics-based, process-driven sales team.
  • Live in the metro Miami/Fort Lauderdale area.
  • Must be Bilingual English/Spanish.

Responsibilities

  • Find and build relationships with customers in industries including property management, hotels, construction, and facilities maintenance.
  • Educate customers on Surface Experts' capabilities and limitations.
  • Build trust with customers.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Brainstorm and research new customer opportunities.
  • Memorize sales scripts and practice role-playing.
  • Document sales activities in CRM, tracking clients from lead to sale.
  • Report data accurately daily/weekly.
  • Plan and execute sales strategy for territory.
  • Meet with contacts/customers at their location daily.
  • Follow up with phone calls, texts, and emails.
  • Visit a variety of industries including Property Management, Hotels, Builders, etc.
