About The Position

Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC, a growth-focused metal distribution company expanding into new territories, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to grow its Massachusetts business presence. The position focuses on new growth opportunities and building relationships with businesses from various industries. Hadco serves a wide range of industries, including OEMs, fabricators, machine shops, and contractors, providing them with consistent supply, competitive pricing, and responsive service.

Requirements

Proven sales experience, preferably outside sales background.
Strong communication and organizational skills, both written and verbal; comfortable speaking with customers on the phone and via email.
Ability to handle objections and provide alternatives in the sales process.
Valid and clean driving record (no DWI, reckless driving, or similar violations within the last 5 years).
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment.
PC literacy, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook); ERP/CRM experience is a plus.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a sales career.
Possess a strong professional work ethic.

Responsibilities

Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers to increase sales within a specified geographic territory.
Present our product lines and services to existing customers and prospects.
Develop and maintain relationships with purchasing contacts.
Cultivate a team environment, working with inside sales to promote and expand business. Ensure quotes, material, and deliveries meet customer needs.
Maintain current knowledge of industry trends to identify opportunities for company growth.
Investigate and resolve customer inquiries.
