About The Position

Wright Tree Service of Canada Job Title: Outside Sales Representative Type: Seasonal Reports To: Sales Supervisor About Us: Wright Tree Service, a business unit of Wright Canada Holdings, provides vegetation management, storm restoration, and work planning services to utility companies and their communities across North America.

Requirements

  • 1-2 year of outside sales experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
  • Ability to interact in a team environment using technology-based software.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Proven outside sales experience.
  • Track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Strong listening skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Strong work ethic, the highest level of integrity and honesty, and possess a continual focus on striving for excellence.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with vendors, and employees.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead, follow-up, outbound cold calls and emails with potential customers and clients.
  • Builds and maintains a network of sources from which to identify new sales leads.
  • Communicating with customers and leads to identify and understand their product or service needs; identifying and suggests products and services to meet those needs.
  • Demonstrating the functions and utility of products or services to customers based on their needs.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through ongoing communication and relationship management; resolves any issues that may arise post-sale.
  • Submitting requests for estimates.
  • Ensuring client is sent notified of Neighbor Consent Form and underground utilities line locates requirements.
  • Employee will support, actively participate, and act in accordance with Wright’s culture of safety and employee ownership.
  • Comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, and regulations; maintains knowledge of and follows all company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance at work and meetings.
