About The Position

Northlake Financial is growing and seeking a committed and collaborative Outside Sales Representative to join their innovative team. Northlake Financial is revolutionizing the Canadian automotive finance industry with a full spectrum of dynamic rates and services for dealers. They specialize in the acquisition and servicing of prime and subprime automotive financing contracts. Employees flourish in an exciting and engaging environment.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the Calgary, Alberta area.
  • 3-5 years of related sales experience.
  • Valid Driver's license and ability to travel within the specified territory regularly.
  • Dexterous in using productivity tools and end-user software including MS Office suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including strong written and verbal.
  • Successful track record of growing sales and ability to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • All applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Proof of eligibility will be required upon hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling in indirect automotive or consumer lending, financial services is an asset.
  • Post-Secondary education in Business or Commerce is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Service multiple dealers across Western Canada.
  • Commute and travel daily within Calgary, Alberta & Surrounding Areas.
  • Build a book of business.
  • Manage a set region.
  • Encourage the adoption and usage of Northlake's programs within current and future dealers in the designated area.
  • Prospecting: Get the right people on the phone to create buy-in on Northlake Financial Services.
  • Dealer Engagement: Offer an exceptional client experience by providing support, the best client experience and connecting on a personal level to make every interaction meaningful.
  • Problem-Solving: Listen, ask questions, and lead with empathy by putting yourself in the dealer's shoes to efficiently resolve issues.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Act like an owner by taking accountability for issues, and knowing when to collaborate and use your team to find the right solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Deeply understand the products offered by Northlake Financial, and proactively recommending products that will help achieve their financial goals.
  • Goal Achievement: Be competitive and motivated to achieve and exceed the metrics assigned by your manager.
