Requirements

  • Customer focus with comprehensive communication skills and the ability to express self verbally.
  • Must be a strategic thinker, inquisitive, innovative, and creative in order to build relationships, network, link resources, and apply business practices.
  • Works effectively in teams and displays integrity and honesty to participate and contribute to branch team efforts.
  • Must be goal driven and have great organizational and administration skills in order to self manage and develop discipline while remaining flexible and coachable.
  • Must be able to meet and exceed sales performance goals and execute great time and territory management.
  • Ability to adapt to frequent changes in program function or new applications.
  • You are required to provide your most recent employment experience for your application to be considered complete.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate, order and delivery interaction between food service customers and Halperns’ Steak & Seafood.
  • Seeks growth opportunities in existing customers and brings new customers to Halperns’ Steak & Seafood.
  • Represents Halperns’ products and services and manages customer business relationships.
  • Manages customer orders.
  • Acquires new customers.
  • Develops and maintains customer relationships.
  • Manages customer accounts receivables within guidelines.
  • Effectively executes the Selling Cycle.
  • Develops negotiation strategies.
  • Develops pricing strategies.
  • Leverages resources to increase growth.
  • Delivers effective presentations.
  • Conducts customer business reviews.
  • Maintains knowledge of industry through industry magazines and local culinary organizations.
  • Demonstrates and delivers understanding of the Food Service Industry and its operations.
  • Understands areas of customer focus, including Sales Building, Staffing, Profitability, and Compliance.
  • Demonstrates effective sampling.
  • Explains key features and benefits of Halperns’ products.
  • Understands and leverages advantages of Halperns’ branded products.
  • Explains Value Added concepts to customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
