About The Position

This role is designed for sales professionals who want autonomy, accountability, and meaningful earning potential — not micromanagement. As an Outside Sales Representative at Hodge Industrial, you will operate as the owner of a defined territory, managing the full sales cycle and building long-term customer relationships within the manufacturing sector. This is not transactional sales. You will sell mission-critical equipment that customers rely on daily to operate their facilities. This opportunity is in an essential, recession-resistant industry (manufacturing) with a mission-critical product (compressed air). You will have territory ownership, strong service team support, and work for a company with an established reputation and strong growth trajectory.

Requirements

  • 3–5+ years of successful outside B2B sales experience
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within territory
  • Comfortable using modern technology (CRM, Google Workspace, etc.)

Nice To Haves

  • Industrial, manufacturing, construction, or technical sales experience
  • Experience selling capital equipment or services
  • Mechanical aptitude or technical curiosity

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined sales territory
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close
  • Develop new business through prospecting, networking, and referrals
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
  • Conduct on-site visits to understand operational needs
  • Recommend equipment and service solutions
  • Build and grow a significant book of business
  • Coordinate with service and support teams to deliver results
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers
