Requirements

  • 2+ years of outside B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, manufacturing, construction, mechanical systems, HVAC, or a related industry.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office
  • CRM software experience
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Confidently navigate industrial job sites, including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, walking, and lifting up to 50 pounds as needed.
  • Confidently present solutions, listen to customer needs, and collaborate with teammates to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Humble, accountable, coachable, and motivated to contribute to a team that believes people are our greatest asset and is committed to honoring God, developing people, and impacting the community.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, cold calling, and customer visits throughout your assigned territory.
  • Build strong relationships with plant managers, maintenance managers, engineers, safety professionals, and business owners by serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Evaluate customer facilities to identify dust collection, fume collection, ventilation, and preventative maintenance solutions that improve safety, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with our estimating and operations teams by gathering accurate project information and ensuring a smooth transition from sale to installation.
  • Manage your sales pipeline by following up on proposals, maintaining customer records in our CRM, and consistently working toward revenue and profitability goals.
  • Visit jobsites before, during, and after installation to ensure customer satisfaction and strengthen long-term relationships.
  • Represent Lapp Millwright at networking events, trade shows, and customer meetings while maintaining the professionalism and integrity our company is known for.
  • Contribute to our team by attending weekly sales meetings, maintaining your company vehicle and equipment, and delivering exceptional customer service every step of the sales process.
