About The Position

The company offers warm leads generated through referrals and online advertising. As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be a pivotal part of the company's growth, selling post frame buildings to customers in the Southwestern Washington territory. This role involves traveling to customer homes to assess their needs, design, and price structures that fit their requirements. You will manage a high volume of provided warm leads, work closely with customers to understand their needs, offer solutions, and close sales. The position offers a long-term opportunity within a 50-year-old company known for its stellar reputation and high earning potential, allowing representatives to be intimately involved in the building process and see the finished results of their designs. Success in this role requires a passion for customer-facing sales and the ability to work independently and effectively.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in sales, with experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, driven by proactively determining the best solutions for customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently from a home-based office.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to meet with customers in their homes and at their project sites.
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule, including Saturdays.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to warm leads generated through referrals and online advertising and establish initial contact with potential customers.
  • Conduct in-person sales consultations to evaluate customer's needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers, provide ongoing support, answer questions, and address concerns throughout the sales process.
  • Travel to multiple customers in a day.
  • Schedule appointments Monday through Saturday.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the custom CRM system.
