About The Position
Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships, generating new business opportunities, increasing sales volume, and promoting Tri-State Metal Roofing Supply products and services within an assigned territory.
Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of B2B outside sales experience
- Ability to build relationships and close sales
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Willingness to learn and become an expert in the metal roofing industry
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Experience in the roofing and/or construction industry preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Meet or exceed established sales goals and objectives
- Conduct regular customer visits and jobsite visits
- Prepare and present sales proposals and product presentations
- Promote all company products and services
- Follow up on customer quotes and sales opportunities
- Read and interpret blueprints and plans as needed
- Assist customers with product selection and technical information
- Collaborate with plant managers and inside sales staff to ensure customer satisfaction
- Resolve customer concerns and issues in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate customer records and activity notes within CRM system
- Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments
- Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer functions as required
- Maintain positive customer satisfaction and relations
- Effectively manage territory, schedule, and travel
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment in a safe and professional manner, if applicable
- Continuously develop product knowledge and become an expert in the metal roofing industry
- Local travel – assigned local territory/region
- Other duties that may be assigned
