About The Position

Duties and Responsibilities:  Develop a technical knowledge of the products offered, equipment capabilities, company capabilities and product applications Manage the relationship between the company and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals within accounts Meet goals that are consistent with the strategic direction of the territory, district and company Develop relationships with prospects and customers to gain an understanding of their specific needs and business personality Develop and maintain positive internal customer relationships with operations, credit, accounting logistics, inside sales and management team members Effectively communicate strategies to appropriate business unit personnel to obtain required support and coordination Develop and utilize standard business practices including pricing, forecasting, distribution and code of ethics Plan and carry out sales initiatives to agreed budgets, sales volumes, values, product mix, and time frames Meeting and exceeding assigned goals Effectively communicating activities, opportunities, business cases, and other strategic information about prospective and current clients Be an exemplary representative of our company Other duties as assigned Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred Minimum of 5years relevant industry experience Minimum of 3 years Inside Sales Experience Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:  Effective analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities Ability to manage time and maintain organizational skills Ability to create and maintain relationships with internal and external associates Innovative and creative thinking Utilization of sound judgment in making business critical decisions Must be able to concentrate and maintain productivity in high pressure situations Must have working knowledge of the company’s general product line Overnight travel required Must have a valid driver’s license Effective communication skills both verbal and written Strong business financial acumen Computer capabilities using the Microsoft OS  Working Conditions (Including Physical and Mental Demands):  Manual dexterity for use of computer, telephone and other office equipment as needed Ability to speak, hear and interpret sounds and speech Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours per day, occasionally 8+ hours, occasionally position will require stooping, kneeling or crouching for less than 8 hours per day Ability to carry up to 10 lbs. Work environment is consistent with an office setting Occasional exposure to loud noises Must have the ability to travel by automobile and airplane

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5years relevant industry experience
  • Minimum of 3 years Inside Sales Experience
