We are currently seeking a full-time Outside Sales Representative to service our Central Pennsylvania Territory. While the local Branch is located in Harrisburg, PA this role will cover the greater Central PA area. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who thrives in the field, enjoys building strong customer partnerships, and is passionate about driving sales growth. Candidates should possess strong communication and negotiation skills, the ability to manage and grow accounts, and the drive to succeed in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment within the commercial construction industry.

Requirements

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to the Company's mission and its core values
  • Excellent communication skills
  • 4+ Years Previous sales experience is required
  • Ability to work independently, remain organized, and handle several tasks simultaneously
  • Distribution Sales experience required (Preferably B2B Construction Materials)
  • Road Sales; generating new leads outside of the office
  • Ability to schedule and manage workday, meetings, customer visits, etc.
  • Maintaining existing customers by relationship building
  • Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
  • Ability to meet Sales and Profit Goals
  • Use ERP System for Quoting
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

  • Bi-Lingual a Plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Call on existing customer accounts and increase sales revenues
  • Work to generate new accounts
  • Provide accurate and prompt quotes
  • Follow up on quotes and awarded projects
  • Coordinate quotes and deliveries with the inside sales staff
  • Help to resolve customer concerns
  • Assist the Accounts receivable department in collections when needed
  • Attend industry and product related seminars when required
  • Work closely with Branch Manager
  • Remain knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the Company's product lines
  • Perform other duties as assigned
