About The Position

Morris Group, Inc., a family-owned business and a leading distributor of Haas CNC machine tools, is seeking a motivated Outside Sales Representative for its Trident Southeast division. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity to learn from a veteran sales professional, gain territory knowledge, and develop customer relationships with a clear path to territory ownership. The role involves understanding the territory, cultivating new prospects, conducting on-site visits and demonstrations, collaborating on customer solutions, and tracking sales activities.

Requirements

• Completion of either a manufacturing trade school certificate program, a two-year college degree or work equivalent.
• Some working knowledge and understanding of CNC machine technology and applications.
• Basic manufacturing technology, tooling and part inspection is desired.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to interpret instructions provided in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
• Frequent travel throughout a regional sales territory is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with a senior sales representative to understand the territory’s history, accounts, and strategies
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and cultivating new prospects
• Conduct on-site visits, product demonstrations, and presentations
• Collaborate with internal teams to create tailored solutions for customer needs
• Track all sales activities and customer interactions through CRM tools
• Participate in training, product updates, and industry events to maintain expertise
• Perform related duties as required
