About The Position

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships. The role involves understanding customer needs and providing the right mix of ADESA products and services to meet those needs. As a trusted business partner, you will suggest individualized programs of solutions tailored to each customer and contribute to business growth in an innovative atmosphere as a valued member of the ADESA community. ADESA is an industry leader poised for multi-year expansion with significant investments in facilities, sales growth, and inventory.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • College education preferred
  • Proven success in outside b2b sales
  • Territory management experience
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
  • Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
  • Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
  • Proficiency with computer systems and applications
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license that meets requirement
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Responsibilities

  • Generate new business leads and close deals
  • Effectively execute ADESA’s Dealer Sales strategy
  • Prospect, upsell, and manage accounts to ensure growth in vehicles sold and purchased
  • Engage with customers and employees in a transparent, reliable, and positive manner
