About The Position

The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for creating sales, establishing and maintaining both client and referral relationships, curating a steady pipeline of active opportunities, and consistently hitting the established monthly sales quota. This is NOT an entry level position and the candidate will have a proven track record of outside (not inside) sales. Target clients are UHNWI in the built/construction environment. The role requires the candidate to live in and commute in the DFW metroplex to network, meet with referral partners, and prospective clients. The team of Engineers, Project Managers, Installers, Programmers, and Service Techs will handle the technical aspects of the projects, allowing the sales representative to focus on revenue generation.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of outside (not inside) sales.
  • Ability to live in and commute in the DFW metroplex.
  • Experience selling to UHNWI in the Built/Construction Environment.
  • Ability to produce your own book of business.

Nice To Haves

  • +3yrs Sales Experience to UHNWI in the Built/Construction Environment.
  • Selling Audio & Video (A/V), Networking, Lutron lighting & shading, Control4 (C4) Control Systems, High End Home Cinema and Audio.
  • Selling to the Built Environment, elite levels of: Kitchens, Landscape Architecture, Pools, Wine Rooms.
  • History with/as a residential or commercial technology integration firm.
  • Experience as an Owners Rep, Architectural Rep, Outside Sales Rep for a premium/elite brand of architectural products, or Business Development for Trades (Electrical, Pools, Kitchens, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Create sales and hit the established monthly sales quota.
  • Establish and maintain client and referral relationships.
  • Curate a steady pipeline of active opportunities.
  • Establish and maintain consistent sources of project referrals (Architects, GC’s, Owners Reps, Interior Designers, other trades).
  • Establish and maintain revenue generating relationships with UHNWI’s while keeping them happy and a positive source for other referrals.
  • Use the CRM to enter leads, opportunities, and activities, keeping them updated with probability, close date, and next steps.
  • Determine Scope of Work (SOW) and ensure proposals align with client needs.
