We are expanding our team and seeking a motivated and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and represent HomePro in the field. Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience, preferably in residential services, construction, home automation, or related industries.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders, including homeowners, builders, and designers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple leads, appointments, and follow-ups efficiently.
  • Comfortable presenting technical information in clear, customer-friendly terms.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in the field.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and basic office software (email, spreadsheets, presentations).
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; willingness to travel throughout assigned territory.
  • High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience.

Nice To Haves

  • College coursework or degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred.
  • Experience selling residential technology, electrical services, or construction-related products is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, and following up on leads from marketing and partners.
  • Conduct on-site consultations and product demonstrations for homeowners, builders, and designers to assess needs and propose tailored home technology solutions.
  • Prepare accurate estimates and proposals, present pricing and value, and close sales while maintaining professional follow-through.
  • Manage a pipeline of opportunities using the company CRM and maintain timely, accurate documentation of all customer interactions.
  • Coordinate with operations, estimating, and field teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and on-time installations.
  • Attend trade shows, builder meetings, and community events to promote HomePro and build strategic relationships.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the sales territory.
  • Maintain product knowledge and stay informed about industry trends, new technologies, and competitive offerings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
