About The Position

Gentek is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to drive new business growth within the exterior, cladding, and window industry. This role involves identifying opportunities, developing targeted strategies, and building lasting relationships with customers. The successful candidate will act as a trusted business partner, utilizing product expertise and business acumen to provide superior customer service. Responsibilities include using CRM systems, understanding customer needs to deliver tailored solutions, determining sales strategies through data analysis, and achieving sales targets through effective route planning and execution.

Requirements

  • A minimum 3 years B2B sales experience
  • Post-secondary education in business or other related field
  • Valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record
  • A natural disposition to provide exceptional customer service
  • You are goal oriented and will give your all to achieve company targeted sales goals
  • You are compliant and will follow all company policies and procedures.
  • You are a self-starter. You are able to take initiative and identify what tasks need to be accomplished to ensure success
  • Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences.
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.
  • Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.

  • Drive new business growth by proactively identifying opportunities, developing targeted strategies to attract prospective clients, and building lasting relationships to ensure retention and long-term success.
  • Establish yourself as a trusted business partner to both new and existing customers through product expertise, business acumen, and superior customer service.
  • Utilize CRM and other internal systems in compliance with company expectations.
  • Demonstrate curiosity and attentiveness to customer needs in order to proactively deliver tailored, value-based solutions that drive business impact while removing real or potential barriers.
  • Determine sales strategies through your understanding and manipulation of data related to the business.
  • Deliver on your sales strategies and sales targets through effective call route planning and execution of action plans.
