About The Position

Fiserv is hiring an Outside Sales Representative for its Restaurant Depot field sales team in the Long Beach area. The role promotes Clover, a cloud-based commerce platform with point-of-sale and online ordering solutions for restaurants and other businesses. This is a 100% hunter, field-based position involving travel within the Long Beach area and collaboration with Restaurant Depot locations. The representative engages business owners face-to-face, identifies their needs, develops relationships, demonstrates Clover solutions, and uses consultative selling to convert leads into clients. The role also installs Clover systems at client locations and provides hands-on training. The schedule requires flexible weekend hours: Saturday 7–4 and Sunday 8–4.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience in a quota-driven, self-sourcing sales environment.
At least 1 year of experience cold calling and prospecting.
At least 1 year of experience independently generating leads.
Ability to work flexible weekend hours: Saturday 7–4 and Sunday 8–4.
Reliable transportation.
Must currently possess valid and unrestricted U.S. work authorization; candidates requiring sponsorship now or in the future are not considered.

Responsibilities

Proactively engage business owners and restaurateurs at Restaurant Depot, initiating face-to-face conversations to identify needs and offer tailored solutions.
Build and nurture client relationships by scheduling in-person appointments at clients’ restaurants or businesses.
Demonstrate Clover solutions and explain how they can streamline operations and boost revenue.
Use product knowledge and consultative selling strategies to educate potential customers on point-of-sale systems and online ordering platforms and convert leads into clients.
Install Clover systems at client locations and provide hands-on training to support smooth integration and effective use.
Travel within the Long Beach area and collaborate with Restaurant Depot locations to introduce Clover to restaurant owners.
