The Sales Team is crucial in nurturing customers through the sales process, acting as the brand's representative and embodying its premium positioning, voice, and customer-first mentality. This position is based remotely in or around Washington, DC.

Requirements

  • Located in Washington DC or the surrounding area.
  • 10+ years of experience in luxury design-based sales with an extensive personal book of business.
  • Proven ability to set and achieve sales goals, collaborate, and influence sales.
  • Ability to be proactive, take ownership of tasks, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a premium brand voice.
  • Strong attention to detail and relentless follow-through in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills; 'can-do' attitude and resourcefulness; always willing to go the extra mile for the customer.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Candidates must have a reliable car and a valid, current driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • Outside Sales experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Kustomer or similar CX software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Generate sales through personal contacts and Maiden Home's existing client base to meet personal and overall sales goals.
  • Expand the Maiden Home trade business by opening new accounts through outreach and networking within the design community.
  • Travel locally and domestically for trade client consultations and visits.
  • Provide friendly, timely, and proactive communication, serving as an authority and resource for designers.
  • Become an expert on Maiden Home's collection, including all styles, fabrics/leathers, design, and construction details.
  • Represent the Maiden Home brand to the design community, mastering Maiden Home's voice in all partner and customer communications.
  • Plan and execute industry events and trade shows as needed.
