About The Position

As an Outside Salesperson, you will strive to grow your territory to its full potential by visiting new and existing customers to discuss their needs and explain how we can provide a comprehensive solution for any of their compressed air and gas needs. In this role, you will be promoting and selling products into the light industrial, food, and general manufacturing markets. Fluid Flow serves the industrial marketplace with a comprehensive line of compressed air, filtration, measurement and control, and process equipment products and services from leading manufacturers. Our mission statement, “Adding Value to Quality Products,” reflects our commitment to helping customers maximize the performance and profitability of their operations through our industry-leading technical support, service, and solutions. Our industrial process experts are on-call to answer your questions and provide you with solutions to your most challenging application needs. We sell premium compressed air equipment with captive aftermarket. We repair this equipment on-site and on-demand, to ensure complete customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Experience selling technical products
Strong mechanical aptitude or an Engineering degree
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Willingness to work in an industrial environment with moderate PPE requirements on a daily basis
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Responsibilities

Quoting prices, credit terms, and reviewing specifications
Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained and working closely with our Customer Service team in submitting orders for processing
Identifying customer needs and problems through proactive mapping of applications
Presenting creative solutions to customers that provide improved performance and cost savings
Daily travel within territory with limited overnight travel.
