About The Position
Express Feed & Grain Parts is seeking a relationship-driven Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow customer relationships across a five-state territory (NE, IA, MO, KS, SD). The role involves working directly with feed mills, grain elevators, processors, and maintenance teams to help them find the right parts and solutions to keep their operations productive. This is an opportunity to play a key role in keeping feed mills and grain operations running efficiently within the agriculture and material handling industry.
Requirements
- 3+ years of outside sales experience (industrial or agricultural preferred)
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn technical products
- Self-motivated, organized, and comfortable working working independently
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Responsibilities
- Build long-term partnerships with existing customers
- Develop new business within agricultural and industrial markets
- Recommend replacement parts, maintenance items, and equipment solutions
- Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and close sales
- Travel regularly throughout your territory and represent Express at industry events
