About The Position
Outside Sales Representative – Elmira, NY Competitive Base Salary + Commission & Incentives! We’re seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative to support and grow our Elmira / Geneva territory. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives on building relationships, uncovering opportunities, and helping customers succeed through innovative welding and industrial solutions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or construction-related environment
- Proven sales success with measurable results
- Strong technical aptitude paired with excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer focus with a passion for building long-term relationships

- Ability to develop and execute territory, market, and business plans
Nice To Haves
- associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Sales experience in welding equipment or industrial equipment rental preferred
- Working knowledge of welding applications, positioning equipment, and related technologies is a plus
Responsibilities
- Grow territory sales and profitability through expansion of existing accounts and acquisition of new customers
- Identify new sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and lead follow-up
- Develop and promote welding equipment sales and rental solutions within your assigned region
- Prepare quotes, deliver presentations, and provide consistent customer follow-up
- Build strong relationships with customer stakeholders across all departments
- Actively manage and support customers’ cylinder inventory programs
- Review customer operations and recommend process or equipment improvements as opportunities arise
- Collaborate with internal sales and support teams to exceed customer expectations
