About The Position

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth by developing new business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing customers. This position is ideal for a proactive sales professional who understands the PVF (Pipe, Valves, and Fittings) distribution industry and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in expanding market share while delivering exceptional service and product expertise to our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3–7 years of outside sales experience (distribution or industrial experience preferred)
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to independently manage a sales territory and prioritize effectively
  • Experience using CRM systems and pipeline management tools
  • Knowledge of supply chain and distribution operations
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to understand product specifications
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers within your assigned territory
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate PVF products and solutions
  • Prospect, qualify, and secure new business opportunities to grow market share
  • Conduct regular on-site visits with customers to strengthen partnerships and uncover opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Inside Sales, Purchasing, Accounting, Product Data, and Distribution teams
  • Meet or exceed sales targets, margin goals, and performance metrics
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing to refine sales strategy
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and product recommendations
  • Maintain accurate records of activities, opportunities, and pipeline in CRM system
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer functions
