About The Position

Dry Force is seeking Outside Sales Consultants for full-time positions in Dallas. This role involves NO COLD CALLING OR DOOR TO DOOR SALES. Instead, you will work with hot leads from homeowners who need assistance, pre-screened and pre-qualified by the customer service team. Appointments are set for you, and you are often referred by the homeowner's existing plumber or HVAC company. Dry Force provides a three-week intensive training program combining classroom, role-play, and field training to prepare you for this career in less than 30 days. As an Outside Sales Consultant, your primary goal is to determine the scope of work, build trust, show empathy, and secure the homeowner's agreement to proceed with restoration services. You will also be responsible for evaluating the loss, preparing proposals, explaining payment options (including insurance), and initiating the drying process. Effective communication with customers, management, and insurance carriers, along with timely documentation, is crucial.

Requirements

  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and enjoyment of the selling process
  • 3+ years of outside selling experience
  • Ability to build rapport easily and establish trust, leading to lasting customer relationships
  • Strong communications skills – interpersonal, written, presenting
  • Ability to effectively present information to customers one-on-one and in small groups
  • Comfortable working outside and in confined spaces like crawl spaces and attics
  • Comfortable working with computers, mobile devices (i.e. tablets) and documenting details of a job using electronic devices
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Successfully clear a background/drug test
  • Ability to work overtime as needed, some holidays, and weather-related surge events

Responsibilities

  • Provide solutions to homeowners in their time of need by quickly building trust, showing empathy, and explaining Dry Force’s capabilities
  • Evaluate nature of loss and prepare proposed job scope using moisture meters and other company-provided technology
  • Prepare proposed engagement for homeowner, secure work authorization, and coach homeowner through payment options (including Dry Force’s experience working with all major carriers) while onsite
  • Stabilize moisture content of affected areas by beginning the drying process and setting homeowner expectations for subsequent work
  • Communicate job status with customers, company management, and insurance carriers
  • Process all documentation and ensure it is completed in a timely manner
