About The Position

Vitan Equipment is hiring an Outside Sales Representative (CSR) to drive service contract sales and deliver exceptional service in the material handling industry. Focused on forklifts and our vertical product lines, you’ll grow new business, manage key accounts, and provide tailored, consultative solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience in forklift/material handling, with a track record of selling service contracts or maintenance programs.
  • Strong relationship-building, qualifying, and consultative selling skills; excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to close service contracts, renewals, and upsell opportunities; proficient with CRM, MS Office, and quoting tools.
  • Able to manage multiple accounts and travel within the territory as needed.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of forklifts, safety procedures, and preventive maintenance programs.
  • Experience tailoring service contracts and vertical product solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Sell service contracts and coverage for forklifts and vertical products to new and existing customers in your territory.
  • Prospect, close opportunities, and manage renewals; upsell preventive maintenance, extended warranties, emergency service, and remote monitoring.
  • Lead account reviews, need assessments, and solution-based proposals using the company CRM.
  • Coordinate orders, service scheduling, maintenance visits, and delivery; ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Collaborate with Territory Managers, Service, Parts, and OEM partners; track pipeline and performance metrics.
  • Provide market insights to sharpen sales strategies and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
