About The Position

We are searching for highly determined individuals who can provide exceptional customer service and have a track record of success in outside sales within the building products segment, in particular with windows. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, building, and maintaining relationships with new & existing customers, assessing their needs, making product recommendations, as well as providing sound product knowledge and consultation. Our primary clients are single family builders, residential contractors, and project managers. We are looking for competitive, go-getters! Someone motivated to drive sales and earn big commissions through results!!

Requirements

  • Track record of success in outside sales within the building products segment, in particular with windows.
  • Experience in the lumber and building materials industry.
  • Construction industry experience.

Responsibilities

  • Represents the company during the sales process by collecting data on customer needs and design specifications.
  • Develops sales contracts for a wide range of projects.
  • Troubleshoots field issues which may be difficult to resolve or are complex in nature.
  • Effectively plans and conducts sales presentations for current and prospective customers.
  • Researches, identifies and solicits new customers.
  • Generates sales opportunities through research on client needs, industry competition and effective demonstration of the features and benefits of the company’s products and services.
  • Continuously updates customers on products and services and provides explanations how these products and services meet current or future customer requirements.
