About The Position

Axis Connected Technologies is seeking a proactive Outside B2B Sales Representative to expand our commercial client base. This role focuses on calling on hotels, assisted living facilities, and other commercial businesses to drive DirecTV Commercial programming activations, AV system upsells, and structured-wire installations. The ideal candidate has strong B2B sales experience, a solid understanding of AV solutions, and a proven ability to close complex commercial projects. This position is Salary plus commission. Base monthly and performance based commissions.

Requirements

  • Proven outside B2B sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Prior experience selling AV, IT networking, or related commercial solutions is strongly preferred. Cable or Internet sales.
  • Knowledge of DirecTV Commercial programming activations and/or AV integration projects is highly desirable.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple opportunities, and travel to client sites as needed.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and basic sales analytics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling to hotels, senior living communities, healthcare facilities, and other commercial properties.
  • Familiarity with UNIFI networking, Q-SYS, and AV integration workflows.
  • Understanding of AV installation processes, structured wiring, and cabling best practices.
  • Existing network of commercial contacts in target industries.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities with hotels, assisted living facilities, commercial offices, and other relevant commercial sectors.
  • Drive DirecTV Commercial programming activations and related services for new and existing clients.
  • Upsell AV product lines and services, including UNIFI networking solutions, DirectTV offerings, Q-SYS control systems, AV integration, and structured wire installations.
  • Develop and execute account plans, build relationships with key decision-makers, and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
  • Collaborate with engineering and installation teams to scope projects, prepare proposals, and ensure successful hand-offs.
  • Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of Axis solutions to prospective clients.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, track opportunities, forecasts, and monthly/quarterly sales targets.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, product updates, and competitive landscape; provide feedback for product and service improvements.
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas while upholding excellent customer service.
