Outside Sales Representative/ Pest Technician
About The Position
The Sales Representative/ Pest Technician is responsible for soliciting new pest and termite customers via creative lead generation, conventional selling, and use of marketing tools. The ultimate purpose of the Sales Representative position is to close sales, generate revenues, and increase territory after performing a thorough inspection and educating the consumer. The Sales Representative also secures new business by following up on house calls. The Sales Representative continually strives to increase business by projecting a professional image of the company and becoming involved in the local community to create opportunities.
Requirements
- Driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Good work history
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in the field with strong organizational skills
Nice To Haves
- Route based experience isn’t necessary but is a plus
Responsibilities
- Providing services that promote environmental health and safety by preventing unwanted pests in and around living areas.
- Prevent/eliminate termite damage and infestation in buildings, homes, and surrounding areas.
- Solves customer problems related to pest/termite prevention and elimination which can include technical research, analysis, and follow-up.
- Builds strong relationships with customers, continually educates them, and readily seeks out ways to help ensure their environment is pest-free and healthy.
