About The Position

This role is for a Landscape Account Manager at Brandon Rushing Lawn & Garden Care, a family-owned landscape company with over 30 years of experience serving premium residential clients in Northern Virginia. The company focuses on long-term relationships, quality work, and helping clients enjoy their yards. The Landscape Account Manager will work with an established client base, meeting clients at their properties, walking the landscape, and identifying opportunities for improvements such as drainage solutions, planting installations, lawn enhancements, and irrigation upgrades. The role involves recommending and closing work, building client relationships, and generating referrals. It is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with homeowners, understands landscapes, identifies opportunities, solves problems, and is comfortable recommending and closing sales. The position does not involve cold-calling and starts with an established client base.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with residential clients at their properties
  • Conducting property walkthroughs and site evaluations
  • Identifying enhancement opportunities and property improvements
  • Recommending projects such as: Planting installations, Drainage solutions, Sod and turf improvements, Seasonal color, Irrigation upgrades, Mulching and pruning, Landscape enhancements
  • Creating proposals and simple landscape recommendations
  • Building long-term client relationships
  • Growing and upgrading existing accounts
  • Generating referrals and additional opportunities
  • Working closely with operations teams to ensure strong execution
  • Managing follow-up and opportunities within CRM systems
