We are a Large Corporate Industry Leader in Building Supplies Employing over 800 Friendly People on Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Outside Sales Masonry/Hardscapes - Great opportunity to work for a growing company and build on your knowledge and skills to grow your career. The successful candidate will work on generating new business and servicing our existing customer base through quality, knowledgeable, and dependable service.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate a positive, professional and courteous demeanor that represents the company professionally.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent or 3-5 years of related work experience / training.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Working knowledge of database software.

Nice To Haves

• Masonry and Hardscapes experience preferred.
• Experience reading architectural plans for takeoffs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generating sales for new and existing customers
• Traveling throughout assigned territory
• Demonstrating product knowledge and using hands on resources
• Quoting prices and credit terms
• Preparing sales contracts for orders obtained
• Estimating delivery dates for customers
• Preparing reports of business transactions
• Entering pertinent information into CRM based on customer interaction
• Tracking stock levels
• Investigating and resolving customer problems
• Attending trade shows as required
• Willing to work with peer Outside Sales Members as needed
