About The Position

Productivity’s Industrial Supply group supports our customers by improving their business efficiency and performance with our wide range of Industrial Supply products, application knowledge, and comprehensive inventory management solutions. As an Industrial Supply Outside Sales Rep, your mission is to build strong customer relationships, serve as a trusted advisor on Industrial Supply solutions, and expand our market presence in your territory. You’ll help businesses run better by getting them the right products at the right time—with confidence and expertise. What Winning Looks Like Territory Growth: You consistently bring in new business through cold outreach, referrals, and strategic networking. Your pipeline stays full and moving. Customer Loyalty: Clients view you as a go-to partner, not just a vendor. They know your name, trust your knowledge, and value your service. Increased Sales: You grow sales through a mix of account management and new customer acquisition. Product Expertise: You confidently recommend the best products for your customers’ needs and stay sharp on what's new in the industry.

Requirements

  • Strong Sales DNA: You're proactive, persistent, and you know how to close. B2B or industrial sales experience is a big plus.
  • Relationship-Builder: You connect well with people at all levels—from purchasing managers, plant managers, safety directors, maintenance supervisors and so on.
  • Industry Know-How: Familiarity with Industrial Supply products—abrasives, personal protective equipment, adhesives, filters, and other MRO products.
  • Self-Motivated: You thrive working independently, managing your schedule, and owning your success.
  • Road Warrior: You’re comfortable being on the road, visiting customers, and meeting customers face-to-face. Potentially 1-2 overnights monthly. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

  • Salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience, with a transition to commission-based earnings. Total annual compensation has the potential to be greater.
