GHX is looking for a driven Account Manager to grow and support a defined territory in Memphis, TN and surrounding areas. This is a true relationship-based industrial sales role—owning your territory, building trust with customers, and becoming their go-to partner for hose and fitting solutions.

Requirements

  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years of industrial sales experience (hose & fittings experience strongly preferred)
  • Solid working knowledge of industrial hose, fittings, and related applications
  • A natural relationship builder who earns trust quickly
  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal teams
  • Strong organization and time-management skills in a fast-paced, territory-based role
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the territory (occasional overnight travel)

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a defined sales territory, managing both existing customers and new prospects
  • Build strong, long-term relationships by understanding customer applications and solving real problems
  • Prospect for new business through cold calls, referrals, and face-to-face sales visits
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan in partnership with leadership
  • Apply your hose and fittings expertise to accurately specify products and support customer orders
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Sell responsibly and profitably, meeting gross margin expectations
  • Use CRM and sales tools to plan your time, manage opportunities, and track territory performance
  • Be visible and responsive by communicating with customers in person, by phone, and via email
