Requirements

  • 2–3+ years of B2B outside sales or account management experience, ideally in industrial, instrumentation, electrical, automation, or combustion controls.
  • Industrial experience - Heavy or light industrial, downstream oil & gas, or commercial experience is preferred.
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and consultative selling skills.
  • Clear and professional communication and presentation abilities.
  • High integrity, disciplined follow-through, and a customer-first mindset.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in the field.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Distribution, Engineering, or related), or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Petrochem or Refinery Plants experience is a major plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own, manage and grow an existing territory with 100+ active accounts, while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and re-develop long-term strategic customer relationships through regular field visits and solution-focused conversations.
  • Identify customer needs, present product options, negotiate effectively, and position INDECO as a trusted single-source provider.
  • Conduct joint field sales calls with manufacturer representatives to strengthen relationships and close opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Inside Sales and Customer Support for quotes, follow-up, and customer success.
  • Follow up on manufacturer-provided leads and maintain a strong pipeline.
  • Maintain accurate customer and activity records in the CRM.
  • Represent INDECO at ISA meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
  • Participate in ongoing product training (in-person and virtual) from manufacturing partners.
