About The Position

The Outside Sales Executive is a high-performing, incentive-driven sales professional responsible for generating new business and growing existing accounts through both inside and outside sales efforts. Reporting to the Senior Sales Manager, this role focuses on building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored logistics solutions.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of direct sales and business development experience within the logistics industry
  • Proven track record of managing and growing a book of business (minimum $25,000/month in profit)
  • Experience working in a commission-based environment (draw preferred)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Highly motivated, competitive, and results-driven with a strong sense of initiative
  • Ability to multitask, adapt quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Established industry relationships and a consultative approach to solving client problems
  • Willingness & ability to work a hybrid schedule based out of Dallas, TX

Responsibilities

  • Build, manage, and grow client relationships through consistent communication and proactive account management
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities via inside and outside sales efforts
  • Develop and present customized solutions to meet clients’ shipping and logistics needs
  • Drive revenue growth by closing new business and expanding existing accounts
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, both externally and internally
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure client success and operational alignment
