M&M Fire Protection and Security is currently seeking an experienced Outside Sales Consultant to focus on identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities in the commercial security, fire alarm and low-voltage market, while supporting other fire protection sales such as kitchen and extinguisher inspections. The ideal candidate has experience in B2B sales, a strong understanding of security systems, fire alarms and low-voltage infrastructure, and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in commercial security, low-voltage, or technology solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, access control, CCTV, and alarm systems.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client visits.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect new business opportunities within commercial markets.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with business owners, property managers, contractors, and decision-makers.
  • Conduct on-site consultations to assess security, low voltage needs and fire alarms, offering customized solutions.
  • Sell a range of security and low-voltage solutions, including: CCTV & Video Surveillance (IP cameras, video management software, remote monitoring solutions, AI-based analytics), Burglar & Intrusion Alarm Systems (motion detectors, glass break sensors, perimeter security, alarm monitoring services), Fire Alarm Systems (fire detection, notification devices, monitoring, NFPA compliance solutions), Access Control Systems (card readers, biometric access, key fob systems, cloud-based access control).
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes, and contracts to potential clients.
  • Work closely with the project and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation of solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM software.
