About The Position

The Outside Sales Associate will work with customers to ensure a smooth sales process. They should demonstrate excellent customer service skills and professionalism. They will develop leads and seek opportunities to present additional products to current customers. The Gallegos Corporation has excelled in specialty stone and masonry construction since 1970, with additional services ranging from plaster/stucco, marble/granite, art rock and concrete to stone sales and project design assistance. They are capable of handling projects of any size with superior, timeless craftsmanship. Over the past 56 years, Gallegos has successfully completed projects in 17 different states and currently has five offices in Colorado and Montana.

Requirements

Valid Colorado Drivers license at the time of hire.
Proficient use of Microsoft Office, cost accounting and inventory systems.
Must have a working knowledge of the English language to communicate with other crew members, customers, etc.

Responsibilities

Support current and potential customers by providing expert product knowledge and general customer assistance.
Generate new customer leads through inbound, lead follow-up and outbound cold calls.
Establish, develop, and maintain positive relationships with various client audiences.
Travels 50% of the time.
Educate customers on the benefits of Gallegos products using presentations and promotions in order to close sales.
Coordinate sales efforts with team members and all necessary departments.
Maintain all databases.
Supply management with reports and feedback on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
Correctly and thoroughly input customer data and reports to reflect current sales interactions.
Answering questions to overcome resistance and objections, quoting prices, negotiating with customers and closing the sale.
