The Outside Sales Associate will develop rentals and sales of welding equipment, power generation, and weld automation in the assigned region. This role involves following sales leads, making presentations, preparing quotations, maintaining literature, and providing customer follow-ups. The incumbent will assess customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions, while also maintaining a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines. The position aims to develop and increase the end-user customer base through effective communication and solution recommendations, including performing onsite equipment demonstrations and making application recommendations for welding and positioning equipment. The role also focuses on developing long-term supply relationships through contracts and agreements, working collaboratively within a team, and meeting or exceeding rental and sales goals. Representation at trade association meetings and trade shows is also part of the role, along with compiling prospective customer lists and maintaining accurate sales call reports and expenses. Additionally, the Associate will provide customer follow-up, back-up branch coverage during employee shortages, and perform other related duties as required.
