About The Position

As a Sales Account Executive for one of the leading freight forwarders in the industry, OEC Group will provide you with an opportunity to build your book of business and become more knowledgeable about the shipping/logistics industry. About the Position Duties and responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned): Travel at least 2 weeks out of the month to assigned Market Outside of Home city. (AL/MS/LA/FL)

Requirements

  • 1+ years of B2B sales or marketing experience
  • This position will cover a geographic area surrounding the OEC Group office the candidate has been hired for.
  • The role requires having reliable transportation at the time of hire.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • B2B outside sales professional with an ambitious, competitive and motivated personality who is interested in making long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Excellent people skills, a result-driven self-starter who is an active listener, creative problem solver who is a solution-oriented sales professional.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluency in Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin is a plus!
  • International or domestic freight forwarding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Travel at least 2 weeks out of the month to assigned Market Outside of Home city. (AL/MS/LA/FL)
  • Developing B2B Relationship through cold call & in person visit.
  • Prepare and offer logistics service plans.
  • Collaborate with Sale Support on the maintaining the pricing for the service plan.
  • Onboarding account and aligning service expectation.
  • Meeting at least the Performance or Hustle Goal at any even month (See Key Performance Indicator below)
  • Being available to collaborate with team from another time zone
  • Datamine New Prospect to rotate out leads.
  • Datamine current account to monitor market share and other growth opportunities.
  • Maintaining & updating the Sale’s CRM
  • Staying consistent in keeping close to prospect (Keeping pipeline with under 30 day since last contact)
  • Routine Review of Pipeline with Sale Support
  • When necessary, assist the Accounts Team in collecting payment.
