About The Position

This position requires unloading trucks in a safe and timely manner, keeping the receiving area clean and free from debris. Making sure fluming systems are operated correctly to avoid plug-ups. Maintain raw product flow into evenflow bins.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Lock-out/Tag-out, Forklift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.
  • Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral.
  • Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions, required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.
  • Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperature
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergies
  • Ability to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.
  • Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.
  • Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Valid Driver’s License and driving record that meets Lamb Weston Driving Standards
  • Exposed to temperatures ranging from -20 degrees below zero to 35 degrees Fahrenheit in Freezer Operation and 37 degrees to 90 degrees Fahrenheit in Plant Operation
  • May have to sample food while evaluating Lamb Weston products
  • Climbing to various heights via stairs or ladders on a regular basis

Responsibilities

  • Guides trucks into unloading positions.
  • Operates forklift to transport samples to ODA grading area.
  • Monitors evenflow levels.
  • Flumes raw product into evenflows by using the HMI program.
  • Completes CL’s, CIL’s, and FSIL’s for your respective work area.
  • Enters in defects found in your respective work area.
  • Unloads trucks, take samples and operate receiving equipment.
  • Accurately completes forms as required.
  • Accurately collects and labels raw product samples.
  • Completes daily sanitation duties.
  • Maintains a clean receiving area, which will include shoveling, use of high-pressure water hoses, and dumping of raw waste totes.
  • Inspects raw product for foreign material.
  • Monitors waste pit water level, waste room hopper levels, and water usage in Receiving.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
