Plan, monitor, and control unloading, tanking, transporting, and storing of cucumbers, peppers, brined stock and other agricultural products as directed by superintendent. This role involves directing the unloading and storage of fresh stock, ensuring efficient handling to prevent deterioration. The supervisor is responsible for directing the tanking of stock, communicating with the QA department, and preparing instructions for stock removal and tank management. Additionally, the role includes maintaining inventory, directing the washing and sorting of stock, managing plastic bins, assisting with hydrocooling and cooler storage, and overseeing the maintenance of various equipment. The supervisor must effectively communicate quality deviations, ensure adherence to safety and quality regulations, monitor SOPs and GMPs, assign tasks to employees, and coordinate work with other departments. Regular meetings with the Superintendent, review of departmental reports, and submission of daily shift reports are also key responsibilities. The role requires maintaining accurate records, managing costs, budgets, safety, quantity, and quality, and ensuring operational areas are safe and sanitary.
