JOB SUMMARY: The Ohio Peterbilt Outside Parts Sales Rep is responsible for growing sales with assigned accounts and new customers by establishing strong customer relationships through consistent in-person sales calls, managing accounts with excellent communication, and collaborating with management, team members, and other departments to ensure premium customer service.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required
• Must reside in the territory at the time of the position start
• a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
• Strong Communicator: possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self- starter & Problem-solver : with strong time management and organizational skills
• Customer Service Excellence: Providing outstanding service to all customers both internally and externally, and maintaining a positive attitude
• Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
• Technical & Mechanical Skills: has a strong mechanical aptitude and strong sales skills
• Manual Dexterity: Regular repetitive use of hands , wrists, and fingers will be required.
• Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, including the use of a computer keyboard
• Mobility: Frequently required to sit or stand for prolonged periods. Occasionally, you will stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist. May ascend and descend stairs frequently and climb into machines.
• Strength: May occasionally lift and/or move light to moderate amounts of weight

Nice To Haves

• Three to five years of experience with heavy-duty parts is preferred.
