Grow your career - See what opportunities await today! JOB SUMMARY: The Parts Specialist Counter will be responsible for excellent customer service. Extending optimal customer care and concern is a priority. This position will require completing tasks at the parts counter, including receiving parts calls, greeting and assisting walk-in customers, accurately processing all paperwork, and handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions. They will be expected to perform all related warehouse duties, including accurate counting, receiving and shipping of parts, receiving stock, accounting for warranty items, and building hoses. This person is expected to perform all necessary tasks related to contamination control and to prioritize safety strongly.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • You must have one or more years of warehouse and inventory experience, some of which should have been in a mechanical parts environment.
  • This individual must be highly motivated.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Must be able to provide excellent customer service.
  • Good computer skills, including Microsoft applications.
  • A strong attention to detail is required.
  • Lifting/Carrying 40 lbs.; Lift/Carry and 50lb pulling
  • Standing/Sitting Up and downstairs, standing, sitting, and climbing into machines
  • Dexterity Normal
  • Repetitive Motions Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge and experience with CAT heavy equipment and diesel engine parts are preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Completing tasks at the parts counter
  • Receiving parts calls
