JOB SUMMARY: The Ohio Peterbilt Outside Parts Sales Rep is responsible for growing sales with assigned accounts and new customers by establishing strong customer relationships through consistent in-person sales calls, managing accounts with excellent communication, and collaborating with management, team members, and other departments to ensure premium customer service. Requirements

  • Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience: Three to five years of experience with heavy-duty parts is preferred
  • Additional: Must reside in the territory at the time of the position start; a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
  • Strong Communicator: possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self- starter & Problem-solver : with strong time management and organizational skills
  • Customer Service Excellence: Providing outstanding service to all customers both internally and externally, and maintaining a positive attitude
  • Computer Skills: Basic computer skills, including Microsoft applications
  • Technical & Mechanical Skills: has a strong mechanical aptitude and strong sales skills

Responsibilities

  • Growing sales with assigned accounts and new customers
