About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the grounds of the facility. This includes tasks such as mowing, trimming, planting, watering, and general upkeep of the outdoor areas. The role requires physical labor and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscaping preferred.
• Ability to operate groundskeeping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
• Knowledge of basic horticultural practices.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with irrigation systems.
• Certification in pesticide application.
• Knowledge of different plant species.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns.
• Plant flowers, shrubs, and trees.
• Water lawns and plants as needed.
• Apply fertilizers and pesticides.
• Remove snow and ice from walkways and parking lots.
• Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment.
• Perform general cleanup of the grounds, including litter removal.
• Assist with seasonal planting and removal of plants.
• Ensure all grounds are safe and accessible.
