About The Position

The Outside Golf Services role involves operational duties to offer exceptional service in facilitating golf play with first-class amenities that are organized and professional in promoting all programs of the Fieldstone Golf Club. Fieldstone is a highly-rated public golf course in Metro Detroit, known for its Arthur Hills-designed holes, diverse landscape, wetlands, majestic hardwoods, and unparalleled maintenance. Requirements

• Graduation from high school or GED equivalent.
• Valid Michigan Driver's License.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to lift medium to heavy objects.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships.
• Ability to work with numbers (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
• Ability to memorize rate cards, play policies, programs, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Any combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge and experience to perform work assignments.
• Experience in playing golf.
• Working knowledge on how to operate a point of sale system (typing skills and/or computer skills are necessary).

Responsibilities

• Offer exceptional service in facilitating golf play.
• Provide first-class amenities that are organized and professional.
• Promote all programs of the Fieldstone Golf Club.
• Operate a point of sale system.
• Service clientele in a first-class golf facility.
• Operate operational equipment.
• Perform janitorial cleaning using supplies and equipment.
• Complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Lift medium to heavy objects.
• Walk and stand for long periods of time.
• Communicate orally and in writing.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Establish effective working relationships.
• Work with numbers (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
