Gordon Food Service is seeking an Outside Food Sales Representative to cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers in the food service industry. This role involves managing existing and prospective customers within an assigned territory, focusing on sales growth and relationship management. Requirements

High School Diploma/GED is required.
1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience.
Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
Ability to obtain your food safety certification.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Pursue new customers by researching industry and market trends, identifying prospective customers, developing sales strategies, and presenting these strategies.
Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships by visiting customers regularly, conducting business reviews, providing training on product offerings, and identifying opportunities for Gordon Food Service to add value.
Manage the sales territory by balancing new customer acquisition with existing customer relationship management, coordinating visits, and communicating order status updates.
Cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers.
Achieve sales territory management goals.
