About The Position

Gordon Food Service is seeking a Bilingual Outside Food Sales Representative in Waco, TX. This role involves cultivating relationships, developing new business, and providing innovative solutions to customers in the food service industry. The company has been a leader in food distribution for over 125 years and is the largest family-operated broadline food distribution company in North America. The position offers a structured sales training program during the first 90 days, covering systems, products, sales processes, relationship building, and territory management.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish Required
• High School Diploma/GED is required
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
• Maintaining a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record
• Ability to obtain your food safety certification

• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers.
• Pursue new customers by researching industry and market trends, identifying and researching prospective customers, and developing and presenting sales strategies.
• Deepen and strengthen existing customer relationships by visiting customers regularly, conducting business reviews, providing training on product offerings, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Manage sales territory by balancing new customer acquisition with existing customer relationship management, coordinating visits, and communicating order status and updates.
