As an Outside Food Sales Representative, you will cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to customers, helping them achieve their goals. This position is located in Cheyenne/Laramie, Wyoming. You will be responsible for the overall sales and relationship management efforts for existing and prospective customers within your assigned territory, including pursuing new customers, deepening existing customer relationships, and sales territory management. The role involves researching industry trends, identifying prospective customers, developing and presenting sales strategies, conducting business reviews, providing customer training on products, and identifying opportunities for Gordon Food Service to add value. Territory management includes balancing new customer acquisition with existing customer relationship management, coordinating visits, and communicating order status. Gordon Food Service provides comprehensive sales training, including e-learning, job shadowing, and mentorship, to equip you with knowledge of systems, products, sales processes, and relationship-building best practices.
