About The Position

Gordon Food Service is the largest family-operated broadline food distribution company in North America. As a Bilingual Outside Food Sales Representative, you will cultivate relationships, develop new business, and provide innovative solutions to our customers, helping them to achieve their goals. This position will reside in Fort Worth, TX.

Requirements

• Bilingual in Spanish
• A high school diploma/GED is required
• 1 year of prior sales, business, or food service experience
• Maintaining a valid, unrestricted state driver's license and a safe driving record
• If applicable, must participate in the company vehicle reimbursement program and maintain required insurance levels.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree and/or culinary certificate preferred

Responsibilities

• Pursuing new customers by researching industry and market trends, identifying and researching prospective customers, developing sales strategies, and presenting them to prospective customers.
• Deepening and strengthening existing customer relationships by visiting customers regularly, conducting business reviews, providing ongoing training on product offerings, and identifying opportunities for growth.
• Managing sales territory by balancing new customer acquisition with existing customer relationship management, coordinating visits, and communicating order status updates.
